<p><strong>FELICITATION BY THE HON’BLE VICE PRESIDENT</strong></p> <p><strong> SHRI VENKAIAH NAIDU</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>It was a moment of great pride when <strong>the Hon’ble Vice President Sh Venkaiah Naidu felicitated </strong>Mrs Neetu Kapoor Principal APS Delhi Cantt and differently-abled student Sakshi Kumari . </p> <p>The felicitation was in honour of Sakshi’s outstanding achievement of winning the <strong>Student Of The Year Award</strong> in the <strong>COMMON WEALTH OF LEARNING, EXCELLENCE IN DISTANCE EDUCATION AWARD </strong>by outwinning <strong>53 Common Wealth Countries</strong> and nearly 35 Lac NIOS learners.</p> <p>She was awarded in the <strong>NINTH PAN Commonwealth Forum on Open Learning Conference held at BT Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburg Scotland .</strong></p> <p>The <strong>Hon’ble Vice President Sh Venkaiah Naidu </strong>congratulated Sakshi Kumari for bringing laurels to the country and wished her Good Luck for her future.</p>

<p><strong>SPECIAL OLYMPICS WORLD WINTER GAMES</strong><strong> is one of the largest sports and humanitarian event in which 3000 athletes from 110 countries compete to prove their mettle.</strong></p> <p><strong>Stalwarts of APSDC NIOS Wing, Monu, Ranjali, Mukul Panwar and Pooja led APSDC to the pinnacle of success by winning medals in Special Olympics held at Austria. </strong></p> <p><strong>Our star player Monu, as the goal keeper of Indian Floor Ball Team, steered the team to victory and won Gold Medal and was awarded cash prize of Rs.10 lakhs.</strong></p> <p><strong>Mukul Panwar, Bronze in Floor Hockey and Ms Ranjali Basumatary, Bronze in Floor Hockey were awarded a cash prize of Rs.4 lakhs each. APS DC won Global Accolades in Special Olympics World Winter Games 2017 held at Austria. </strong></p>
